Susan Geoghegan

Susan was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has lived there for more than 70 years and has dedicated much of her life to education and community service.

Susan graduated from Sacred Heart of Jesus High School and completed her college studies between Loyola University and the University of New Orleans. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business in 1970. Throughout her career, she taught at several schools, including Pierre A. Capdau, Chalmette High School, Marion Abramson High School, John F. Kennedy High School, Ursuline Academy, and Isidore Newman High School.

In 1979, Susan became one of the first female State Farm agents in Louisiana. She quickly gained recognition as one of the Top 100 New Agents. Since then, she has proudly served customers across the Greater New Orleans area—building a reputation of excellence while earning major achievements such as Legion of Honor, President’s Club, Senior VP Club, and Crystal Excellence. She is also a commercial leader in both Orleans and Jefferson Parishes.

For this Spring of 2026, Susan is especially focused on helping families protect what matters most with Auto, Home, and Life Insurance. And as summer approaches, she also offers coverage options for Boat Renters, RV, and Motorcycle—so her customers can enjoy every season with confidence.

Outside of her work, Susan is deeply committed to giving back. She has served on multiple boards and actively supports organizations such as Save the Orphans and Spay Mart. One of the most meaningful ways she has made an impact is by being a foster parent. She believes strongly in providing for others and leading by example.
